i'm in love.

i finally saw "slumdog millionaire" last night. wow! what a great film. a totally engrossing story that almost made my bitch ass cry. great stuff though. and now i've fallen deeply in love with latika played by the hottest/most beautiful woman ever captured on film, freida pinto. i googled the shit out of her as soon as i got home from the theater. she's only 24 years old. i have a chance! hopefully comedy makes me very rich and famous soon, so freida and i can meet at a swank l.a. night club or a hollywood cocaine party and then get married. god damn, this was a great movie. definitely the best movie of 2008. now i leave you with some of the best pictures i could dig up on google.

my buddy kai reminded me about the 2pac "do for love" music video today. that video was way ahead of its time! the computer graphics are out of this world if you consider when it was made, and the claymation pac is dope too. you can see that kanye was heavily influenced by this video in making his "heartless" video. i still think pac is hugely overrated, he's not the best rapper ever, but this song and video are sick as hell.

today marked the last broadcast of "the adam carolla show". the mother station he broadcasts from, klsx, is changing its format to play top 40 hits and will no longer be needing his services. this is one of the saddest days of my life. carolla is hilarious and he'll land on his feet, but now i have nothing to listen to on my way to school in the mornings. this is pretty upsetting because i've been listening to the ace man on the radio since his "love line" days back when i was a sophomore in high school. well, thanks for the memories ace. mahalo.

kid cudi's "day 'n' nite" music video premiered on "106 & park" today. it's a sick video, but it'll be hard for anyone to top the "welcome to heartbreak" video. my jaw is still on the floor after seeing that.

my best friend kai turned 21 and we went to celebrate on saturday night. sake bombs and sushi were consumed in mass quantities. after that we went to our friend chel's house in sac to play this crazy asian drinking game that involved a dice and making up rules to make the other players drink. good times were had by all. i turn 21 in a month, this night was adequate preparation.

danny mcbride's new hbo show "eastbound & down" is hilarious. if you haven't heard of him, he's been in "tropic thunder" and "pineapple express". he's the big dude with a mullet and an effeminate southern accent. the show is produced by will ferrell and adam mckay so you know that it'll nothing but amazing. below is a behind the scenes making of video for the show. "eastbound & down" airs on sunday nights on hbo at 10:30.

yesterday admission into the sacramento zoo was free. so i went to check it out with my friends kai and kiks. the animals at the sac zoo are the most depressed looking creatures i've ever seen. after the zoo we grabbed some amazing burgers from the squeeze inn. the place is the smallest hole in the wall burger joint ever, but the food is amazing. to top it all off, we witnessed a truck engulfed in flames. good times!
