i can't wait for a movie called "the road" to come out. "the road" is based on a novel by cormac mccarthy who also wrote "no country for old men". it stars viggo mortensen and is about a man and his son surviving in a post apocalyptic world. this movie sounds very promising. the book is supposed to be quite good and very disturbing. this movie is in good hands with directer nick wechsler who previously directed a great movie called "the proposition". "the road" should be every bit as good of an adaptation that "no country for old men" was.

director zack snyder will be releasing a companion dvd for his upcoming movie "watchmen" a few weeks before its theatrical release. the dvd is called "tales of the black freighter" and will include two side stories that occur within the "watchmen" graphic novel. gerard butler who played king leonidas in "300" lends his voice to one of the characters on the dvd. look for this to drop on march 24. i can't wait for "watchmen" mania to encapsulate my life.
